- SUBSTATION ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS

Seeking experienced substation engineers to provide electrical engineering for new design, upgrades and expansions of distribution and transmission substations up to 345kV. Responsibilities include: Planning the design of protection, metering and control systems for complex and moderately complex transmission substations. Designing and modifying one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams for all substation equipment. B.S. in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college is required. Minimum of three years experience designing substations for electric utilities is required. Professional Engineer license is a plus. Excellent pay and benefits to the right candidate. - SUBSTATION PHYSICAL ENGINEERS

Seeking experienced substation engineers to provide physical and layout design for new design, upgrades and expansions of distribution and transmission substations up to 345kV. Experience to include: Station layout, site design, fencing, grounding systems, conduit and cable systems, AC and DC distribution systems; Substaton equipment expansions such as transformer and breaker replacements; Foundation analysis and design, as well as design and analysis of steel structures. B.S. in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college is required. Minimum of three years experience designing substations for electric utilities is required. - SUBSTATION DESIGNERS

Seeking experienced substation designers to develop electrical one-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel elevation views, cable schedules and bills of materials up to 345kV. Responsible for verifying electrical clearances, analyze grounding, size of conduits, and station bus. Physical drawings of substations include: Site and grading plans, plan and section views, foundations, structural steel, bus work, building, fence and grounding, cable routing and bills of materials. - SUBSTATION RELAY TECHNICIANS

Seeking experienced electric utility Relay Technicians to perform commissioning & testing start-up procedures for protective relay & control and power system equipment in high-voltage substations. Transmission Line Engineering Department |

- TRANSMISSION LINE ENGINEER

Seeking an experienced Transmission Line Engineer to be an important member of our engineering group. Requirements include: B.S. in Civil, Electrical or Structural Engineering from a 4-Year, ABET accredited engineering program; Professional Engineer license, or ability to become registered; Project design experience in High Voltage Transmission Line Engineering - 69kV to 345kV is required. 500kV is desirable. Knowledge of specifications and codes for transmission lines, transmission towers and construction; Knowledge of PLS-CADD is required. Job Duties: Develop transmission line designs that meet all safety, environmental and code requirements in a cost-effective manner; Provide cost estimates for proposed transmission work and monitor actual costs; Issue construction plans for assigned projects;Provide civil engineering support to transmission line facilities standards by preparing functional transmission structure and foundation standards using mathematical models to analyze, design and evaluate structure concepts; Interact and communicate effectively with clients, engineering team and vendors; Able to perform effectively and be responsive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - TRANSMISSION LINE PLSCADD DESIGNER

Seeking experienced PLSCADD transmission line designer to play an important role in our Transmission Line Engineering Department. Responsibilities include: Assisting in the design of overhead transmission facilities; formatting survey data incuding LiDAR data; building PLSCADD line models ready for design and analysis; building structure models and producing initial designs; sagging wire, checking clearances, uplift & galloping, etc.; determining structure heights; generating sag & tension data; producing detailed plan & profiles; generating stakeout lists; assisting with material lists. Minimum of three years of previously working in a Transmission Line Engineering Department, either for an electric utility or a consulting engineering firm.
