Realtime’s experienced substation engineers provide electrical and physical design up to 500kV. To meet the client’s requirements, we can provide a totally original design, adapt one of many past designs, or produce a design in complete conformance with the client’s standards. Realtime has expertise in upgrading/expanding existing substations.

Project types include high voltage transmission substations; distribution substations; generator step-up stations; switching stations; industrial; and co-generation.

Our staff is skilled with both electromechanical and solid state microprocessor relaying systems. Extensive experience enables us to work with both common and sophisticated protection schemes. Projects have included use of a wide variety of communications equipment over leased line, power line carrier, microwave channels and fiber optic medium.
